4th Annual Metabolomics Workshop a Success

Group Workshop

May 9-12, 2016, the Michigan Regional Comprehensive Metabolomics Resource Core (MRC2) hosted its fourth-annual metabolomics workshop and it was a huge success.

Over 55 registrants joined a group of 23 presenters from the MRC2 and the broader metabolomics community, for an intensive four-day workshop, designed to build a solid foundation for expanding research using metabolomics. Attendees represented more than 30 U-M departments and Emory University, Henry Ford Health System, Hope College, King Faisal Hospital and Research Center, McGill University, Novozymes, Van Andel Research Institute, SUNY and WUSL.

This year's workshop featured a full day of hands-on at the new U-M Taubman Health Sciences Library and included sessions on statistical workflows, MetScape (Pathway Analysis) and CoolMap.
